Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Effective date: 01 September 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Directeam Cloud Solutions (“Directeam”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit directeam.io and any of our marketing sites, landing pages, blogs and campaign pages (together, the “Website”), or when you contact us, subscribe to our communications, register for an event, or apply for a role with us.
Directeam is a cloud strategy and services company. We are an AWS Premier Partner and an OpenAI Select Partner, and we work with organisations on cloud engineering, FinOps, DevOps and AI adoption.
- Registered address: Menachem Begin 7, Ramat Gan
- Company registration number: 515728970
- Privacy contact: marketing@directeam.io
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Directeam is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. What this policy does and does not cover
This policy covers personal information we collect through our Website and our marketing, sales, events and recruitment activities.
It does not cover personal data that we process on behalf of our customers when delivering cloud, FinOps, DevOps or AI services. In those engagements we act as a processor (or sub-processor) and we handle personal data only on our customer’s documented instructions, under the terms of the relevant services agreement and Data Processing Addendum. If you are an individual whose data is held in a customer’s environment, please contact that organisation directly; we will support them in responding to you.
This policy also does not cover third-party websites we link to. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a contact or demo request form, subscribe to our newsletter, download a resource, register for a webinar or event, or apply for a job, you may provide: your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, country, the content of your message, your areas of interest, and — for job applications — your CV, work history, education, and any other information you choose to include.
Information we collect automatically. When you use the Website, we and our service providers may collect: your IP address (often truncated or pseudonymised), device and browser type, operating system, language settings, referring URL, the pages you view, the links you click, time spent on pages, approximate location derived from IP, and unique identifiers set by cookies or similar technologies. See section 5.
Information from other sources. We may receive limited business contact information from partners (including AWS and other partner programmes), event organisers, sponsors of joint activities, publicly available professional sources such as LinkedIn or company websites, and business-data providers. We use this only for business-to-business outreach relevant to your professional role.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or political data) through the Website. Please do not include such information in messages or forms.
4. How we use your information, and our legal bases
| What we use it for | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and providing information you request | Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one |
| Managing our relationship with customers, prospects and partners | Legitimate interests (running and growing our business) |
| Sending marketing emails, newsletters and event invitations | Consent, or legitimate interests for existing business contacts, subject to your right to opt out at any time |
| Operating, securing and improving the Website | Legitimate interests (site security, performance and usability) |
| Analytics and measuring campaign performance | Consent, where cookies or similar technologies are used |
| Organising and running events and webinars | Performance of a contract or legitimate interests |
| Assessing job applications | Steps taken before entering an employment contract, and legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal, accounting, tax and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims | Legitimate interests, or legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. You may ask us for details of that assessment.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies to make the Website work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the Website is used.
We group them as follows:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Website to function, including security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics/performance — help us understand which pages and content are useful, using tools such as [Google Analytics / your analytics provider].
- Marketing/advertising — used by us and our advertising partners (for example [Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta]) to measure campaign performance and to show relevant advertising.
Non-essential cookies are set only where you have given consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time via [Cookie Settings link] or through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Website behaves.
Where technically supported, we honour browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and any sharing of personal information for that purpose.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and with appropriate safeguards in place:
- Service providers who act on our behalf, including cloud and hosting providers, CRM and marketing automation platforms, email delivery services, analytics and advertising platforms, event and webinar platforms, and recruitment tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Group companies and affiliates, where relevant to the purposes described above.
- Business partners, including AWS, OpenAI and other technology or channel partners, where you have asked to be introduced, where you register for a jointly run event or campaign, or where a partner programme requires a registration or referral — and only with a lawful basis for doing so.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers.
- Authorities and regulators, where we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
- A buyer or successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or reorganisation.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
7. International transfers
Directeam is based in Israel, and our service providers may be located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States and elsewhere. This means your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries outside your own.
Israel benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission for transfers from the EEA. Where we transfer personal data to countries that are not subject to an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, principally the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable), together with additional technical and organisational measures where needed. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or anonymise it. As a general guide:
- Enquiry and contact form submissions: [24 months] from the last meaningful interaction
- Marketing contacts and newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, and then a minimal suppression record kept indefinitely so we do not contact you again
- Website analytics data: [up to 26 months]
- Event registrations and attendance records: [24 months] after the event
- Job applications: [12 months] after the process closes, unless you consent to us keeping them longer
- Records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes: for the period required by applicable law
9. How we protect information
We apply technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls on a least-privilege basis, network segregation, logging and monitoring, vendor security assessment, and staff training. We maintain incident response procedures and will notify you and the relevant authorities where we are required to do so.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
10. Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
If you are in Israel
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended (including Amendment 13, in force since August 2025) and its regulations, you have the right to review personal information held about you in our databases, to request that inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information be corrected or deleted, and to ask us not to use your information for direct-marketing purposes. Requests are handled in accordance with the timeframes set out in the law. If we decline a request, we will explain why and inform you of your right to appeal to the competent court.
If you are in the United States
Depending on your state of residence — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; access a copy of it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; opt out of targeted advertising, of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of profiling with legal or similarly significant effects; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
Directeam does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by the California Consumer Privacy Act. You may submit a request through the contact details below, and you may authorise an agent to submit a request on your behalf. Where a request is denied, you may appeal by writing to marketing@directeam.io; we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Exercising your rights
Write to us at marketing@directeam.io or use the contact details in section 14. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframes set by applicable law — generally one month under the GDPR and 45 days under most US state laws, with an extension where a request is complex. Exercising these rights is free of charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
11. Marketing choices
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] to be removed from our mailing list. Please note that we may still send you administrative or transactional messages relating to a service, event or enquiry.
12. Children
The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice or contact you directly.
